About Me and My Work

I’ve been quilting for more than 20 years now, and my work covers a wide array of topics, techniques, and materials. I frequently combine traditional hand techniques with machine techniques, hand applique with fusible, and hand dyes with commercial fabrics and batiks. My work ranges from small pieces a few inches square to large wall pieces and bed quilts. I’m an active member of guilds in Wisconsin and Maryland, as well as the Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA).

My work has been exhibited in local, regional, and national solo, juried, and open shows. I currently have two pieces touring in SAQA Global Exhibitions, and my quilts have recently appeared in the International Quilt Festival (Houston, TX), the Great Wisconsin Quilt Festival (Madison, WI), the Interwoven Member Show (Madison, WI), at the Textile Arts Center (Madison, WI), and in the SAQA Riversong regional traveling exhibit (WI/IL).

A solo show of approximately 30 of my aviation-inspired art pieces will hang at the Kelch Aviation Museum in Brodhead, WI, from March through December, 2026.
